First, I want to introduce how I was brought to complete this unnecessary but possible combination. I was driving late at night, on a public road, and was turning into the highway when I encountered a raccoon. As hopeful as I was at the time, the raccoon was making its way across the street and I slowed down to give it time. As I was speeding up as it was out of the way, it decided to move back and made contact with my front bumper. I drove all the way hope to find out that my front foglight bezel is missing and the foglight frame arms have broken off. This was VERY unfortunate, but that’s the past.
What I kept on my car, previously installed were:
– H11 foglight harness with connectors
– Stainless steel mounting hardware set (4 screws, 4 wing nuts, 4 washers)
– 4 T-Tap wire connectors
The new hardware I installed were:
– 2 H11 Yellow Glass-lens foglight assemblies, (interchangeable left and right), with 55W H11 halogen bulbs
– 2 Gloss Black Fog/turn bezels (left and right side)
If you have read this far, YES THIS WORKS. I took this path because I hated how the insides of the Diode Dynamics foglight assemblies got dirty very quickly. I also wanted the yellow glass on the foglights for a cleaner look (with LEDS On and Off) and the gloss bezels to match with my raven black paint.
Installation took only 20 minutes and I love how it looks. To those who aren’t following my instagram, my new tires are in and the wheels are coming soon!
Oh, the nostalgia. The 8-bit goodness. I have been playing this game on and off for the last 1-2 months and I have finished the game! (Well, I didn’t really complete the Pokedex because its impossible on the Emulator.) This game is very unique because it allows you to catch the 3 Starter Pokemon; Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, the 3 legendary birds; Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, and even MewTwo!
This last part was always the easiest, after beating the elite 4 of course. MewTwo. You throw the Master Ball, he gets caught, winner winner chicken dinner. As a kid, I remembered this game taking a lot longer to beat. Obviously, at that time, my intelligence was moderate – so understanding weakness, building a strategic team, and saving up in-game currency was the least of my worries. I just wanted to win and make my whole starter team strong to beat the elite four. Fast forward to now, I can understand why it was a pain to play. Fortunately, my emulator is on my phone. Back then, the Gameboy Color was the reason for this pain. Light was non-existent, the slightest shake might pop the batteries out so you would have to restart from your previous save point (I.E, speed bumps in the car. Thanks Mom), and the fact that you had to carry a consistent set of AA batteries to keeping the game(s) going.
In the end, the Pikachu following you around was always the best. Made me always want a pet (not to train and fight), in which i got a dog! Not a mouse like Pikachu, but equally lovable (:
Having a great time with these 50cc scooters! For those of you that aren’t familiar to the cc measurement – it isn’t that fast of a scooter. However, it is very fun to ride!
6 of us riding down to Fort Lauderdale and the view is amazing! I wish I stopped by a took a picture but we were on the move.
Best part, all 6 scooters costed less than $200 for the whole day! Groupon is GOAT.
As I lay here, FaceTiming the love of my life – I am missing home. And the fact that I have car parts waiting for me to install once I get back. Tomorrow will be a better day – my older brother’s is growing a year older and that means lots of food and fun! I guess I will say it early, but…. happy birthday big bro!
We made it! It’s not as sunny as we thought it would be. It’s raining. It’s pouring. More or less, there are old men snoring.
The beach house is wonderful, because we are near the shore and say hi to the people to boat down the strip. The best part to this vacation, is that our labradoodle is getting so much attention from tourists and locals. He loves it so much! Crazy enough, he has been spoiled a lot – with a $12 meal as the record so far. But, we love him. He’s family and we all eat good.
Today is a simple day – we travel down to south beach to have lunch with the whole family and take a boat tour of the city. The only thing that can top today, is if Bernice from South Beach Tow comes and we get her autograph!
I hate this. Half the time I feel like it’s gonna stall out from me. Don’t buy an FR-S, ladies and gentleman. (Is it an 86 now?…yeah whatever, i’m kidding.)
Maybe this baby needs a tune. I’ve heard about this ridiculous open tablet that can flash the ECU of the car to help with this issue – maybe keep it at a solid 1k. But for $499? You can kiss my sweet
ass before I decide to buy that. Looks like I’ve got a lot to research to figure out a cheaper way of tuning my car.
Besides that, I just recently purchased the Fumoto Oil Drain Valve, which I will install very soon because my oil change frequency is very close to car washes, and a secret new part will be coming shortly after!
I’m excited how things are slowly growing for this car and I’m happy to have a group of friends who have a strong passion for cars. Without their help, installations would take long, YouTube would be my only friend, and I’ll magically screw up and turn my car into a piece o’
shit. Luckily that isn’t the case.
Thank you for those who are currently following my build! For those who are slowly coming in, I also appreciate your time and I hope to show you my wonderful work of art!
Football players playing softball. Quite the show, but a very fun time indeed! The charity helps support family’s with low income/homeless and help with food, finding shelter, paying bills, etc.
It’s good to give.
Thank you Baltimore Ravens for the awesome game and I hope the best for this upcoming season! All in all, I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!
Speaking with friends, speaking with the company, speaking to my wallet.
Possible Duckbill to be installed on the FRS! I’m so anxious to see how this turns on. I’ve had this part on my mind for quite a while and finally…..my time to shine. Anyone have any luck with the Legsport Duckbill on their FRS?
I have seen very few cases of this duckbill and it looks fantastic. In addition, ITS CARBON FIBER. Happy me. I’ll make my decision sometime this weekend, so stay tuned!
Good Lordy, the moment is coming near. A week of no stress, a loud family, lots of food, and good times.
Come to think of it, I haven’t seen my whole family in a while. I’m sure I’ll be playing 21 questions with them all vacation. Where do you work now? Do you have a girlfriend? How is she? When are you going to get married so we can go to a wedding?
People say that these type of questions annoy them… to the point where they have memes specifically for these questions! I like it when I am asked about my life. It gives the satisfaction of knowing that my family cares about what’s going on in my life.
Family. Don’t take them for granted. Gotta love em.
Many times in life, I have moments of feeling alone. It could be on bad days, and even good days. Why do I let this happen to myself? The real question is, what can I do to make me happy?
As I stare at my phone, I begin to overthink about my life. Will I really make my parents proud, will I get to have a family, will I make a good living where I can support myself and my family, will I be happy?
I see myself in the reflection of a bathroom mirror and I see hope. I see a guy that has gotten this far in life and that can continue to do more if he tries. I can see happiness. I just can’t feel it.
I have met many people who hide themselves from the fact that they are vulnerable – that they are really scared. I’m scared too. I’m scared of not having a better future. And that’s okay.
I think back to history class in high school. King Leonidas and the fierce 300 in the Battle of Thermopylae. They faced much worse. The is no way in hell that they weren’t scared but they fought anyways because they knew the bigger picture. They have the future depending on them, Sparta depending on them, family depending on them. They fought till there was no more fight in them.
I’m writing to say that I am scared, but I can fight through it. This is weak
shit. I need to pick myself up and move forward once again. I will have to fight this feeling everyday but I know it’ll be worth it. I can work hard for my happiness. Best of all, I have a family and a group of amazing friends that I know will and has always supported me. I can be happy. A little faith can bring you a long way.
You are never alone. It’s time to pick up the pace.
This week, like every other week, has had it’s ups and downs; however, this week has been quite exciting so far.
I have just ordered my new set of coilovers for my car and they are arriving tomorrow (2 day shipping for FREE, special thanks to Alex at coilovers360)! I get to see my friends, this weekend, to assist me with installing them. When you work almost 65-70 hours per week – you tend to appreciate these times.
Friends are hard to come by nowadays. You either have those who want to see you succeed, and you have those who play the loyalty card – telling you that you don’t even care about them because you don’t go out to a party with them, or go to lunch with them. Your friends should understand the sacrifices you are making to make ends meet. The ones who understand also know what it is like, or is going through it as well.
Cherish these people. You will live a life knowing that you aren’t doing this alone.
